Table Tennis Contest ends and winners awarded

The table tennis contest has ended. The final game was played on the 1st of March between Hazm Hussam, from the Computer Department, and Soran Hussein, from the Law Department.
The Tennis Club of Students Unit ran the contest. Twenty students from different departments participated in it. It was an opportunity for students to show their skills and have fun with the fans.
Soran was beaten in two rounds and so this left him in second place. Hazm became the winner.
The president of the university, Prof. Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed, welcomed both of them into his office. He congratulated them and presented them with awards. He said that UHD supports sports activities and creates opportunities for its students to exercise their skills and talents.
