Business Management students take a tour of ABC Towers

Students of Semester Five in the Department of Business Management at the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Human Development went on a field trip to ABC Towers in the Ibrahim Ahmed neighbourhood in Sulaymaniyah on 10th December 2024.
The purpose of the trip was to observe how a large under-construction project is managed, what obstacles the management team has to overcome, and how they do it. Semester Five students in the Business Management Department take a course called ‘Project Management’; the course instructor, Dr Farooq Hussein Muhammed, organised and supervised the field trip with the aim of showing his students some practical aspects of the course.
The managers of ABC Towers provided an overview of the various aspects of the project they are supervising, the tasks they have, and the challenges they face. Overall, the trip was beneficial and highlighted the practical side of their study programme.
