A team of female students from the University of Human Development won third place in a Table Tennis Championship held for public and private universities in Sulaymaniyah City, hosted by the College of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at Sulaimani University.

The UHD team had a brilliant start and showed impressive performance at all the matches, and made it to the semi-final. The team comprised three students: Helen Salah, Sonia Ali and Raz Muhammad from the Law Department.

An award-giving ceremony was held on 19 February 2024; medals and trophies were distributed to the winners by Sulaimani University’s presidency.
