Ahmed Muhammed Ahmed in the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department won the final round of the University of Human Development 2024 Chess Competition. He played against Raman Kareem in the Information Technology Department.

Sixteen students from different UHD academic departments took part in the competition. It was managed by the university’s Students Unit.

The UHD President Professor Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed awarded the winners of the final round and congratulated them on their achievement.

UHD offers the opportunity to all its students, not just the elite, to take part in a wide variety of sports activities held as annual competitions or tournaments such as football, table tennis, chess, cycling and hiking. These games are popular among students.
