A group of students from the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences at the College of Health Sciences at the University of Human Development, under the supervision of one of their lecturers, went on a voluntary mission of free medical tests for elderlies and employees at Sulaymaniyah Elderly Care Home.

The following tests were performed for patients and visitors: Blood Sugar, Blood Pressure, Heart Beat, %Spo2 and Body Temperature.

The Medical Lab Sciences Department at UHD has carried out many similar missions before. It has performed tests on various occasions at the UHD campus, shopping malls, healthcare and social care centres…etc for volunteers as part of its contribution to the wellbeing of society.
