The Chess Club of the Students Unit had organised a chess contest for students at the University of Human Development. Sixteen competitors participated in it.

The final game was played on 1st March between Muhammad Hamid Ghaffar and Rawaz Abdulrahman Faqe-Muhammad, both from Information Technology Department. Rawaz won the final match after he made a series of right moves.

The UHD President, Prof. Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed, received them in his office and congratulated them on their achievement. He awarded them with prizes. He mentioned that UHD pays great attention to sports activities and it is pleased to see its students participate in the games.
