High schoolers from Darbandikhan visit the UHD campus: Renwar High School for Boys

Students from Renwar High School for Boys, located in Darbandikhan, a town southeast of Sulaymaniyah, visited the main campus of the University of Human Development (UHD) on the 16th of February, 2025. They were Grade Twelve students from the Scientific Branch and were welcomed upon their arrival by the university’s Students Unit.
A lecturer from the Information Technology Department at the College of Science and Technology, Mr Abdulbast, presented a seminar to them at Prof. Dr Ali Qaradaghi Hall on the topic of Artificial Intelligence and its increasing relevance to modern life. UHD, as the first university in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, opened an academic department last year for the study of Artificial Intelligence. Subsequently, the head of the UHD Students Unit gave a talk in which he introduced the academic departments and administrative units at UHD and highlighted the available study courses.
