Diplomacy students take their practical classes off campus

Students of Year Four at the Department of Diplomacy and Public Relations at the University of Human Development took one of their practical classes in Business Language at Sulaimani Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Sherko Company for Business, both based in Sulaymaniyah city. It was coordinated by their class instructor Dr Parwar.
Having such a class is a new experience for students. It is interaction with new places and people. In the case of the Business Language course, it was a chance to learn directly from people in the field to know how their organisations work, what they actually do and how they face challenges…etc. This trend will continue throughout the course.
Some modules of the Year Four Diplomacy and Public Relations Department are designed to include field studies, internships at local and foreign companies and government agencies, and having on guest instructors.
