UHD students visit Sulaymaniyah International Book Fair 2024

Around 120 students and lecturers from the University of Human Development visited the Sulaymaniyah International Book Fair 2024 on December 4th. They travelled by bus from the UHD campus to the Book Fair and returned in the afternoon. They spent time at the fair reading book descriptions, and some of them purchased the books they found interesting or relevant to their study programmes.

The organising party was the UHD Students Unit. Speaking to UHD Media about the visit, the director of the Unit said that they aimed to familiarise students with book fairs and assist them in finding books of interest. He also mentioned that his office believed the Sulaymaniyah International Book Fair 2024 would offer a good opportunity for students to explore new publications and be encouraged to develop a reading habit, something that many students today largely lack.
