UHD female student wins fourth place in the Universities Chess Tournament for Girls

Sulaimani Evening High School for Girls tours UHD campus

A group of over 35 students from Sulaimani Evening High School for Girls travelled to visit the University of Human Development campus and become familiar with its learning facilities, on 4th December 2024. The UHD Students Unit received them and guided them throughout their visit. Sulaimani Evening High School for Girls is situated in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
Following their arrival, they were directed to Professor Dr Ali Qaradaghi Hall to listen to a speech by the head of UHD media, Assistant Professor Dr Ahmed Omer Bali, in which he discussed life at the university and focused on study programmes at UHD. He clarified certain points aimed at helping students develop goals and have ambitions for the future while they are still in high school. He stated that it is very important for students at this age to know what they would like to do in the future.
The students were then guided to the medical labs in the Medical Laboratory Sciences Department for a presentation about the work of the medical labs and the courses that students in that department study. The Nursing Department and its labs were another location that the students visited.
