The Students Unit at the University of Human Development organises three hiking activities annually for students to have a change of scenery and bond in nature. It is strongly believed that students require extracurricular activities like sports, music, and other entertainment to feel refreshed and focus better on their assignments after such activities.
The first hike this year took place in the Hawraman area on 15 November. Students began their walk from Zardahal, experiencing various terrains and enjoying the fresh air and beautiful mountain scenery along the way. Byara, a charming small town in Hawraman, was their final destination. Over 110 students, lecturers, and employees participated in the activity, all returning home safely.
Both the Protocol Unit and Employees Unit supported the Students Unit in organising and supervising this activity.
