Field trip to Titanic Hotel

College of Administration and Economics at the University of Human Development organised a trip for its students of Semester Six in the Department of Business Management to the five-star Titanic Hotel in Sulaymaniyah on 22nd April 2024 – students at the Business Management Department take courses related to tourism and management of tourism facilities, so this trip was an opportunity to see and understand the applied aspects of managing and marketing a tourism facility.
During the visit, students received information about the organisational structure of the hotel and the role of heads of its departments in managing the hotel. The hotel’s general manager highlighted her duties and responsibilities, and expressed her gratitude to the University of Human Development for good education and building confidence in its students – the manager is a graduate of the UHD Business Department.
Note that the five-star Titanic Hotel was established in 2013 and is considered a distinguished tourist hotel in Sulaymaniyah.
