Leaders High School takes a trip to UHD campus

Students of Grade 12 from Leaders High School, a private school in the city of Sulaymaniyah, organised a trip to the University of Human Development (UHD) campus on 6th December 2021, they were warmly received by the UHD Students Unit upon their arrival. The purpose of the trip was educational; it was to learn about the different units and departments of UHD so that they can have a clear idea about university life and study.
During the trip, students were directed to the main buildings and units including the medical laboratory, Sports Centre and the cafeteria where they had the opportunity to briefly experience life as a university student. At the end of their trip, the students which numbered 60 attended a seminar at Professor Dr Ali Qaradaghi’s Hall by Dr Bakhtiyar Talabani who is a well-known human development trainer in Sulaymaniyah.
Trips like this are aimed at encouraging high-school students to develop a clear vision for their future and be able to make the right decision. The most important decision for Grade 12 students in Kurdistan Region is to choose the right study course and the right university when they finish high school.
