UHD female student wins fourth place in the Universities Chess Tournament for Girls

A female student from the University of Human Development won fourth place in a Chess Championship for Girls held for public and private universities in Sulaymaniyah City, hosted by the Sports Unit at Sulaimani Polytechnic University.

The student, Sonia Ali, showed brilliant performance at all the matches and managed to win fourth place in the tournament.

An award-giving ceremony was held in February 2024; medals and trophies were distributed to the winners by Sulaimani Polytechnic University’s presidency.
