Based on a Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Human Development (UHD) and the General Directorate of Education in Sulaymaniyah, UHD conducted an educational and awareness-raising course for public schools in the city of Sulaymaniyah.

The first session was held at Hawar Basic School for Girls, with the following UHD College of Science and Technology lecturers leading the course: Dr Muz'hir al-Ani, Dr Mazn Gharib, and Mr Karwan Hama-Kareem. The subjects they covered in this course included: 1. The future of technology and Artificial Intelligence, 2. Using social media safely, and 3. Navigating the Internet securely and protecting data.

The second session took place at Dina Basic School for Girls, led by the same UHD College of Science and Technology lecturers. The topics they covered in the course included: 1. Using technology and the Internet, 2. Using social media, and 3. Preventing unhealthy use of technology.

Many students and teachers from both schools attended the courses attentively.
