The Department of Accounting at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Human Development, opened a tutorial course on using a special software programme designed for accounting purposes. The course ran from 29th of April to 5th of May, 2025. Participants included Year 4 students in the Accounting Department, totalling 40 individuals.

Mr Shwan Mustafa Eissa and Ms Kazhi Sardar Amirkhan delivered workshops and supervised the course. They focused on the practicality of the programme and explained how it can serve the commercial and investment companies. The course aimed to introduce and train students on an accounting software programme and help them transfer theory into practice. Students learn the basic principles of accounting and all the relevant subjects at the Department of Accounting, but they need practice and training so that they can secure jobs in the future. For this reason, the Accounting Department at UHD offers training courses throughout the academic year for its students. Recent training included the ‘Alameen’ programme and ‘Zoho Books’.
