Lecturer Dr Omed Ahmed is sent formal invitation to work as Visiting Scholar at Huddersfield University

University of Human Development lecturer Dr Omed Hassan Ahmed has been formally invited by Huddersfield University in the United Kingdom to work with them as a Visiting Scholar and help in a group formed by this university called Information and System Engineering Research Group.

According to the invitation letter which was recently received by the University of Human Development, Dr Ahmed will carry out research and collaborate on topics related to Optimisation Algorithms and Soft Computing. His work will involve ‘data gathering, analysis and collaboration with members of staff and/or PhD students’ as pointed out in the invitation letter. 

This collaboration between UHD and Huddersfield University is a significant development in the history of both institutions and will pave the way for further work and cooperation in many other areas in the service and science and progress.
