Students’ graduation research papers are published in reputable journals

Students and lecturers at the College of Science and Technology at the University of Human Development have published two conference papers and one research article on the usage of technology in health issues and management. The conference papers are Lung And Colon Cancer Detection Using Weighted Average Ensemble Transfer Learning and A Hybrid Approach to Osteosarcoma Detection Using Densenet201-SVM Model and the research article is New Approach for Attendance System using Face Detection and Recognition. The first two are published in 2023 11th International Symposium on Digital Forensics and Security (ISDFS) which is indexed in Scopus and the latter was published in Passer Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences indexed in DOAJ and some other databases. They can be downloaded for free from the above links.  

The papers were originally students’ graduation research projects prepared under their lecturers’ supervision namely Dr Mazen Ismaeel Ghareb and Mr Abdalbasit Mohammed Qadir in the academic year 2022-2023.
