Book reading event: Victor Frankl’s Man’s Search for Meaning

Language lecturer Mr Araz Ahmed Muhammad oversaw a book reading event held by
four students, namely Khawen Falah Hassan, Parwa Ahmed Muhammad, Shadiyar
Abdulrahman Hama-Amin and Kashma Awat Ali, at Prof. Dr Ali Qaradaghi Hall at
the University of Human Development on 22nd February 2023. Around 200
students from English and other departments attended the event. The theme
of the event was ‘The Language of Hope’ as it was derived from the book. It
focused on: Hope in times of despair and trouble, using the right language to
create hope, recounting stories as a method of bringing hope, and learning from
others’ experiences and miseries.
