College of Administration and Economics at the University of Human Development has run a training course on the usage of accounting software QuickBooks. The course was conducted in 4 days between 18th December 2022 – 2nd January 2023.

The course aimed at improving the skills of the lecturers at the aforementioned college and other participants in using QuickBooks (QB), and also Cloud App. Participants were trained on how to apply the accounting cycle through a computerised accounting system.

Participants were expected to be able to create charts of accounts in QB, report capital entries, record expenses and income transactions and attach support documents for the transactions, print out vouchers and get main reports from the system (General Journal, General Ledger, Trial Balance, Income Statement, and Balance Sheet).
