Dr Asos Namiq Brakhas from the Law Department at the University of Human Development delivered two seminars on two successive days at a training course in Sulaymaniyah that was organised by Khanzad Culture and Social Organisation for secondary and high school teachers and educational supervisors.

The first seminar was on the principles of rights and duties in Iraqi law. It took place on 22nd November 2022. The presenter explained the legal meaning, sources and boundaries of ‘right’ to the audience. Her second seminar was on the relationship between students and teachers which took place the following day. She focused on the meaning of education in general and the rights and responsibilities of teachers and students.

She took many questions from the audience at the end of both seminars.
