Both the University of Human Development (UHD) in Iraq and the University of Texas at Austin (UTAUS) in the United States held a joint seminar on cultural diversity titled “Cultural Diversity Only Works When We Are United” on 2nd March 2022 at 9:00 pm.

The speakers introduced and discussed the latest scholarly understandings of cultural diversity, definitions and concepts, methods of collecting and analysing data and information about cultural diversity, different experiences of people who lived in culturally diverse societies, and lastly, the meaning and role of cultural diversity in business and trading.

More than 50 lecturers from UHD and other universities in the Kurdistan Region participated in the seminar with questions and comments. They were awarded the certificate of participation by the organisers at the end of the seminar.
