DCRT workshops continue: ethicality, purposefulness and planning

The Development Centre for Research and Training (DCRT) at the University of Human Development has opened a series of workshops “Special capacity building project for University of Human Development students” early this month. Three workshops have been delivered so far.  

The first workshop was about ethical principles, sources of ethics and how to become an ethical person. It was delivered by Prof. Dr Anwar Muhammad Faraj, the Head of DCRT and UHD President Assistant for Scientific Affairs.

The second and third workshops were delivered by Dr Suhaib Mustafa Taha, the Dean of the College of Languages, on the issue of having purposes and plans in life. The main topics covered were: the importance of having plans; life circles (self, family, university and society) and the role of plans in strengthening and developing man in all these circles; the main components of personal plans (value, message, vision and goal); what is value and how to find it; how to develop your message; what is vision and how to make it; and what is goal.

More than four hundred students have attended the workshops. The rest of the workshops will go ahead as planned. Participants will receive certificates at the end. Participation is free of charge.
