English Department holds a workshop on ‘literature review’

The English Department at the University of Human Development organised a workshop titled The Nuts and Bolts of the Literature Review for the 8th-semester students. Approximately 70 students attended the workshop, which was run by Assist Prof. Dr Sabir Hasan Rasul.

In the workshop, students were introduced to the details of the literature review as a very essential stage in conducting research projects. Participants discussed the literature review both as a process and a product. The workshop also shed light on the purposes of literature review and the elements involved in the process. It finally offered tips and strategies to produce an effective literature review as part of students’ graduation research.

The English Department has a plan to offer a series of seminars and workshops on various aspects of conducting graduation research project.
