The University of Human Development has launched a training course for public school teachers in Sulaymaniyah. The course addresses several important areas related to education and office work, such as organising files and safeguarding them from loss, utilising Microsoft Office programs like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as modern methods of developing exam questions in Kurdish, English, and Arabic.
The target school is Hawar Basic School, and the training commenced today, 11 February 2025. Two UHD lecturers from the College of Science and Technology, namely Rizgar Sirwan and Azhi Othman, taught and conducted the course today. The course will continue for three days, with six hours of instruction each day.
The University of Human Development and the Sulaymaniyah General Education Directorate have a Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation in education and other related fields. UHD has provided educational and training courses for public school teachers and students over the past several years, and its lecturers have played a crucial role in the success of these initiatives.
