In a special ceremony held in the Selangor region of Malaysia in December 2024, a centre called 'Qaradaghi' was inaugurated for the development of Islamic education and thought. Several Muslim scholars and intellectuals attended the ceremony.

The core activity of the ceremony was the introduction of a book titled 'Rising from the Objectives of Sharia to the Objectives of System'. The book is written by Professor Dr Ali Qaradaghi, and was introduced by Sheikh Fawaz al-Fadhl, the acting head of the Union of Muslim Scholars in Malaysia, at the ceremony.

In a speech delivered online, Professor Dr Ali al-Qaradaghi praised the importance of the centre and described it as a beacon for spreading scientific heritage and promoting Islamic thought in Malaysia and the Islamic world. He mentioned that the centre aims to organise scientific activities that contribute to raising Islamic awareness and enhancing the role of knowledge in society. The project received positive feedback from attendees, who emphasised its significance in holding scientific discussions on pressing issues, spreading knowledge, and enhancing the status of Islamic sciences in the region.
