UHD 2024 Football Tournament: final match and winners awarded

The final match of the University of Human Development 2024 Football Tournament kicked off on 6 March between Fourth Year Group A of the Medical Lab Sciences Department team and Third Year Group A of the Information Technology Department team, and Medical Lab won the match 4-2.
A little ceremony was held at the end of the match in which the players were greeted by the UHD President Professor Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed and awarded prizes; medals, cups and trophies.
Twenty-one teams from different UHD academic departments participated in the competition. All the matches took place on the UHD football field. Fans chanted and cheered on their favourite teams throughout the games, and the cool weather of early spring and the turning green of surrounding hills made the matches more enjoyable and more fun.
The tournament was organised and overseen by the UHD Students Unit.
