It is a great victory for UHD and a milestone in the international rankings. In its newly published 2023 report, the Times Arab University Rankings ranks the University of Human Development (UHD) as the only university, among all other public and private universities, in Sulaymaniyah Governorate in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.  

A total of six universities in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq (three public and three private universities) are ranked in the report. No public or private universities in Sulaymaniyah Governorate are on the list except the UHD. There are some other universities in this governorate on the list but they are given the Reporter status.

This is undoubtedly a significant record for UHD. The University of Human Development is proud of this achievement. It congratulates its beloved students and the administrative and teaching staff. UHD will continue in its endeavour to apply the highest standards of education and teaching and make a greater contribution to the development of Kurdistan through research and innovation.
