UHD Academic Journal receives ARCIF accreditation

Journal of University of Human Development (JUHD) has now been included in the list of accredited journals by Arab Citation and Impact Factor (ARCIF) in its annual report for 2023.

Arab Citation and Impact Factor is a project launched by e-Marefa, a leading and integrated Arab online database that contains a million and a half records of all sorts of scientific publications including academic journals, articles, theses and dissertations, e-books and book reviews, statistical reports, research abstracts and conference proceedings. It cooperates with 20 Arab countries to index their knowledge products.  

Journal of University of Human Development succeeded in meeting the criteria and achieving the standards of ARCIF, and managed to receive the database’s accreditation. The database reviewed 5,000 scientific or research journals for its 2003 report and awarded only 1155.

JUHD is a peer-reviewed open-access quarterly journal published by the University of Human Development in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. It publishes original research articles in three languages, Kurdish, Arabic and English, in all areas of Humanities and Social Sciences. The first issue of the journal was released in 2015. The journal’s Executive Publisher is Professor Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed and Editor-in-Chief is Professor Dr Zana Raouf Hama Kareem.
