College of Nursing collects donations for Hiwa Hospital

The College of Nursing at the University of Human Development collected donations for Hiwa Hospital with a painting activity. People who attended the activity had their hands printed on a piece of canvas which they paid for it. The money made from this was donated to Hiwa Hospital.
Hiwa Hospital is a public cancer hospital in Sulaymaniyah City. It heavily relies on donations from individuals and charities. Activities as such constitute part of the general public’s support for the hospital.
Hiwa is a Kurdish word. It means Hope. College of Nursing has called their activity A Hope for Patients in Hiwa Hospital.
