The president of the University of Human Development (UHD), Prof. Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed, received in his office several dignitaries on Wednesday, 1st February 2023.

They were Mr Rigar Muhammad Amin, a former member of the Kurdistan Region’s Cassation Court, Mr Kamal Rasheed, a retired judge, Mr Safwat, a lawyer and former member of the first Iraqi Independent High Electoral Commission, Mr Haval Kwestani, a former member of the Iraqi Parliament, a writer and a poet, and Mr Taha, an engineer.

In a cordial meeting, which was also attended by UHD College of Law and Politics lecturers Dr Latif Mustafa Amin and Prof. Dr Saman Fawzi, the UHD president expressed his appreciation for their efforts and significant contribution to developing and promoting law in society and sharing their experience and expertise for solving the legal problems and legal issues faced by the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, and he presented them with UHD glass logo plaque.
