University of Human Development signs Memorandum of Understanding with University of Garmian

The University of Human Development (UHD) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Garmian in a ceremony held on UHD campus on 26th July 2022. UHD is a private non-profit university in the city of Sulaymaniyah founded in 2008 and Garmian is a public university in the city of Kalar founded in 2010.  

The UHD President Prof. Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed and the President of University of Garmian Prof. Dr Farhad Qadir Karim signed the MOU.

The MOU consists of five articles on holding joint scientific activities such as conference, seminar and workshop and inviting each other to their scientific activities; cooperation on conducting scientific researches, publications including translation, and developing programmes for undergraduate and graduate studies and inviting each other for viva voce…etc; exchanging teaching staff and learning from each other’s teaching methods; collaboration on the teaching curricula; and the last article addresses terms and conditions of the MOU.

UHD has signed MOU with many private and public universities located in and outside the country. It believes that working together and learning from each other is the best way to achieve the goal of the university which is education and development of society in all possible aspects.
