In a viva organised in the Seminar Hall at the University of Human Development (UHD) on 28th March 2022, student candidate Najmaddin Fars Hassan defended his thesis titled “Intellectual trends and their impact on the formulation of rights and freedoms in comparative constitutions - a comparative analytical study” in the field of Political Science.

The examination board members were: Prof. Dr Ayad Khalaf Hussein al-Anbar from Baghdad University (head of the board), Prof. Dr Ihsan Abdulhadi Salman from Sulaimani University (member), Dr Kurdistan Salim Saeed from the University of Human Development (member) and Asst Prof. Dr Abid Khalid Rasul from Sulaimani University (member and supervisor).

The examination of the thesis and discussion of the subject lasted about three hours, and at the end the board decided to award Mr Najmaddin a Master’s Degree.

Mr Najmaddin had done his Bachelor in Political Science at UHD. He was known as an active and outstanding student among his classmates.

The awarded degree is part of the Joint Master Programme between the University of Human Development and Sulaimani University. The programme covers several study areas including Political Science, Law, Banking and Finance, Information Technology and  Computer Science,  and English Language.
