UHD opens technology utilisation course for public schools in Sulaymaniyah

The University of Human Development (UHD) has opened an educational course for the public schools in the city of Sulaymaniyah on the use of communication technology. The aim of the course is to increase school students’ awareness about the pros and cons of using social media and other platforms, and how to use communication technology platforms for learning and education.

The course has begun with a seminar delivered at Sulaymaniyah General Directorate of Education by Mazn Ismail Gharib from the UHD College of Science and Technology on 12th January 2022.  Mr Mazn was accompanied by two other teachers who will also be teaching the course and the dean of his college Prof. Dr Muzhir Shaban Mohammed. The Duty Director of the General Directorate of Education and 25 other dignitaries of educational advisors and teachers from the Training Directorate attended the seminar. The first sessions of the course will commence in the next few weeks.  

The Training Directorate as a special department of Sulaymaniyah General Directorate of Education for training will collaborate with UHD for the running and management of the course.

There is a Memorandum of Understanding between the UHD and Sulaymaniyah General Directorate of Education to cooperate on issues related to supporting students and the development of education in general. UHD has committed itself to have full participation in the development of society in all areas including education on a voluntary basis
