Master’s viva in Banking and Finance Sciences in Joint Master Programme between the University of Human Development and Sulaimani University

The Master’s Degree candidate Mr Harith Hamid Ahmed defended his dissertation in Banking and Finance Sciences titled “The effect of using the Six Sigma method on investment efficiency - an applied study on a sample of banks listed in the Iraqi Securities Commission” at a viva voce held in the Seminars Hall at the University of Human Development on 23rd December 2021.

The viva committee members were: Prof. Dr Hatm Hatif Abdulkadhim from Jihan University of Sulaymaniyah (head of the committee), Prof. Dr Othman Abdulqadir HamaAmin from Sulaimani Polytechnic University (member), Assist Prof. Dr Yunis Ali Ahmed from Sulaimani University (member) and Prof. Dr Asaad Hamdi Muhammad Mahir from the University of Human Development (member and supervisor).

The examination of the thesis and discussion of the subject continued for three hours and, finally, the committee decided to award Mr Harith a Master’s degree.

Joint Master Programme between the University of Human Development and Sulaimani University awards joint degrees to successful candidates. The programme covers several study areas including Banking and Finance Sciences, Law and Political Science, English Language, Information Technology, Computer Science.
