UHD conducts international workshop on data science and information quality

College of Science and Technology at the University of Human Development (UHD) in collaboration with the University of Arkansas in the United States and The Union of Arab Statisticians conducted a virtual international workshop on Data Sciences and Information Quality on Friday, November, 19th, 2021.

In the workshop, attended by 70 academists and researchers, the latest developments and scientific programmes in the subject of data science and information quality were discussed. Prof Dr John Talport and Prof Dr Elizabeth Pearce from the University of Arkansas talked about information quality and data science programmes and the developments that have taken place in them, knowing that these programmes were launched at the University of Arkansas several years ago and are very popular because of their importance in the use of modern technology.

Prof Dr Muzhir Al-Ani and Mr Omid Hassan examined the origin and development of data science and information technology, and the relationship of these sciences with each other and their various orientations, in addition to the challenges facing these sciences, especially in the field of work and the great technological development that the world is witnessing today.
