A total of 893 students were finally able to don their gowns and mortar boards in an in-person ceremony at the University of Human Development (UHD) for the first time since the Covid-19 restrictions which were put in place in March 2020. They were the ninth and tenth generations of UHD graduates.

The ceremony was held in Prof Dr Ali Qaradaghi Hall on November 18th, 2021, attended by the UHD President, members of the Presidential Council and teaching staff. It commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran followed by playing the national anthem and UHD anthem.

The UHD president Prof Dr Mariwan gave a speech in which he congratulated the graduates for their significant achievement and reiterated that UHD is committed to the principles of good education and is doing everything it can to that end. He also said that over the past two years coronavirus had affected many sectors including education, however, the University of Human Development provided virtual learning and had online classes for its students.

The ceremony ended with taking the oath by graduates to overserve the ethics of work in the future and serve their country passionately. Group pictures continued after the ceremony.
