UHD lecturers involve in an international program on religion and peacebuilding

Two lecturers from the University of Human Development, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Mustafa and Dr. Amjad Mohammad, participated in an international program about ' The role of religious education in promoting peace values'. The program included seminars, workshops, and conducting research within a 'peacebuilding project' during 2021. It was managed by 'Mali Sarkawtn' organization and sponsored by the European Union Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) and its Lebanese partner, Development for People and Nature Association (DPNA), a non-profit organization that promotes sustainable development. During the program, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib and Dr. Amjad from UHD delivered several workshops to 120 students across six universities including UHD in the Kurdistan Region.  The program ended with holding a conference on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Salahaddin University-Erbil. In the conference, Dr. Amjad presented a research titled 'The extent to which youth energy can be employed in embodying peace'.
