Master’s thesis viva in Joint Master Programme between UHD and Sulaimani University
UHD lecturers participate in a youth capacity building programme in collaboration with local organisations
Master’s Degree candidate Rezhna Abubakir Qadir defended her thesis in Political Science titled ‘Conflict resolution mechanisms in the federal states: conflicts between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi Federal Government as a case study’ at a viva voce which was arranged in the Seminar Hall at the University of Human Development (UHD) on November 20th, 2021.
The examination board members were: Assist Prof Dr Wahid Omar Muhyiddin from Sulaimani University (the head of the board), Assist Prof Dr Omed Rafiq Fatah from Jihan University-Sulaimani (member), Assist Prof Dr Kanaan Hamagharib Abdullah from the University of Human Development (member) and Assist Prof Abid Khalid Rasul from Sulaimani University (supervisor).
The examination of the thesis and discussion of the subject lasted for about three hours, and the board finally decided to award Rezhna a Master’s degree.
Joint Master Programme between University of Human Development and Sulaimani University awards a combined degree to its successful candidates. It covers several study areas including Political Science.
