Students from various departments at the University of Human Development (UHD) have taken part in a specialised course designed to enhance their skills and improve their employability. The course was jointly managed and supervised by UHD and the STEP organisation.

Combining theoretical study with practical classes, the training focused on key skills currently in demand within the labour market.

The two-month course concluded with a ceremony held during the Autumn Festival at UHD. Participants were presented with Certificates of Completion by the President of UHD, Professor Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed, and the Vice Chairman of STEP, Nazm Othman. Both Dr Mariwan and Mr Nazm expressed their commitment to further collaboration between the two institutions.

The labour market is highly competitive in Kurdistan and Iraq, requiring skills of various kinds. UHD provides courses and collaborates with other institutions to address this need.
