English Language Department
The aim of this department is to bring the latest and the most up-to-date knowledge to the students of the English department and enhance students’ knowledge in the fields of language, literature, translation and teaching methodology in the areas of the departments’ specialisation. We train students to lead their community and have good performance in their workplace, in the private or public sectors. We also raise awareness about cultural diversity and help with information intellect with the aim of becoming the top English department in the region.
The Department of English Language at the University of Human Development offers its students a high quality of education in three interrelated areas: English language, literature and translation. The Department aims to promote creativity and critical thinking and combine tradition with contemporaneity. It is committed to producing highly skilful and competent graduates that can best serve their community. At the Department, we have high-qualified teaching staff and we follow the best methodology in teaching and training our students on the English language, literature and translation, and we give them enough power and tools to succeed in their future jobs or post-graduate studies.
The Vision of the English Department is to make the department an excellent academic centre for the promotion of cultural awareness and diversity and bringing societies together through the study of English language, literature and translation.
