He mentioned that he and his team have always ensured that students at UHD have the best teachers and that all necessary learning facilities are available to them. He urged students to make the most of their time, to learn and develop as much as they can, and also report any problems or suggestions to the administrative staff. Development and improvement must continue at UHD.

The President highlighted some past achievements, such as holding academic conferences, symposiums, debates, forums, workshops, seminars, and other activities, both individually and jointly with peer institutions; students’ participation in national and international technological fairs; in training programmes across various professions; and in international competitions like Huawei. The UHD team won the First Prize at the 2024 Huawei ICT Competition held in Beijing.

The President pointed out that UHD graduates occupy prestigious positions in government agencies and private institutions. He then emphasised the increasing importance of learning English in modern times. English is key to science, education, and development. It is also a required skill for obtaining jobs. He finally congratulated the students for successfully completing the course.

During the ceremony, around 250 UHD freshers received Certificates of Completion for their active participation in an intensive English Language course that lasted three months.

The course was managed and supervised by Nostalgia Institute; a private foundation dedicated to teaching languages with a focus on English. The manager of Nostalgia Institute, Mr Ghareeb Salih, expressed his satisfaction with the high level of cooperation that exists between his establishment and UHD and said that they feel honoured to continue working with UHD. He provided the students with tips on how to make the best of their time and achieve success at all levels.
