The University’s football tournament for the year 2025 had its final game played between two teams consisting of students from Year 4 of the Medical Laboratory Sciences at the College of Health Sciences and Year 4 of the Information Technology Department at the College of Science and Technology. The Medical Lab won the game by 2-1.

The President of the University of Human Development, Professor Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed, and members of the University’s Presidential Council attended the ceremony held after the match. The president congratulated both teams for their enthusiasm and participation in their university’s football competition and wished them success, strength, and continuity. He mentioned that the University of Human Development will continue holding contests and various sports to provide students with extracurricular activities and enjoyable experiences.

Finally, he awarded the players on both teams with medals and presented a trophy to the winner of the final game.
