A delegation of the University of Human Development (UHD) visited the new president of the Kurdistan Institution for Strategic Studies and Scientific Research (KISSR) Prof. Dr Shwan K. Rachid to congratulate him on the post and talk about future collaboration between the two institutions.

The UHD delegation consisted of UHD President Prof. Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed, President Assistant for Scientific Affairs Prof. Dr Anwar Muhammad Faraj, President Assistant for Financial Affairs Asst Prof. Dr Hiwa Abdubakir Ali, Dean of College of Health Sciences Asst Prof. Dr Salih Ahmed Hama-Ali and head of the UHD Media Office Asst Prof. Dr Ahmed Hamagharib Abdullah.

KISSR president welcomed the UHD team very warmly and appreciated the visit. Talks went around education, research and development in Kurdistan and what the two institutions could offer to improve those areas. They agreed that both UHD and KISSR can collaborate with each other and support the projects that aim at making a better environment for conducting scientific research, improving education in general and creating a bright future for the young people.
