The President of the University of Human Development, Professor Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed, distributed Certificates of Participation to successful trainees of a course on Zoho Books software in an event held on 20 February 2024.

The Accounting Department managed the course, from 28 January to 8 February. Twenty participants received intensive training on the Zoho Books online software programme in four days. The instructor was Mr Hemn Salih Mahmood, a lecturer in the Accounting Department.

Zoho Books is a software for managing finances, sales, marketing…etc. Companies and small businesses use it to keep up with their invoices and build excellent customer relationships through sharing information and enhancing communication. The programme gives efficiency to businesses and makes them more profitable.

Addressing the gathering at the event, the UHD President congratulated the participants on completing the course and urged them to make use of the knowledge and their certificates for their future. He asked them to continue upgrading their skills in computer programmes.

The President repeated the university’s policy line of opening free training courses for its teachers and students, and also the alumni – this way, the university can maintain a good relationship with its alumni, he said.
