Individual and institutional planning and plan implementation are taught in a course at UHD

The Development Centre for Research and Training (DCRT) at the University of Human Development (UHD) managed a two-day course on individual and institutional planning and the development of plan implementation skills on 18th-19th October 2023. The course was taught at the DCRT seminar hall. The participants were members of a local organisation called Chatr Organisation for All, a non-governmental voluntary organisation that works in the areas of environment and health with a focus on sports activities.

At the course, on Day One, Dr Amjad delivered a talk on individual planning, Mr Nishtiman spoke about the new strategies in organisational work in a lengthy presentation, and on Day Two, Dr Suhaib addressed the issue of institutional planning and how that would help the overall performance of an institution, and, finally, Mr Yusuf clarified the plan implementation skills and the ways they can be developed and used in practice.

UHD President Professor Dr Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed was invited to the closing ceremony to give out certificates to the participants. The director of DCRT, Professor Dr Anwar Muhammad Faraj, thanked the UHD President for coming to the ceremony and for his continuous support to the centre and to society. He mentioned that the course intended to enhance the skills of civil society groups and bolster their creativity and talents. Participants expressed their gratitude to UHD and pledged to continue and do more for the people of Kurdistan.
