Dr Bali publishes a research article on COVID-19 vaccination and social media users in Iraq in a reputable international journal

Asst Prof. Dr Ahmed Omar Bali and three other researchers have published their long-awaited research article on social media users in Iraq and their response to and interaction with information about COVID-19 vaccination. More than 2000 respondents were engaged in a set of questions designed to identify relations between age and education-related factors and negative or positive views toward vaccination, and also to highlight the fact that social media has a role in raising health awareness in developing countries.

The article titled Public engagement with pictures and videos about COVID-19 vaccination on social media: A cross-sectional study in a developing country published in the International Journal of Healthcare Management. The journal is indexed in Clarivate Analytics and available on its Web of Science Core Collection list. The article can be downloaded for free on this link.

Dr Bali is the head of the Media Office at the University of Human Development. He is also a lecturer at the Department of Diplomacy and Public Relations.
