The University of Human Development Held the Sixth Round of Graduation Ceremony

On Monday 23/ 10/ 2017 the University of Human Development held the Sixth Round of Graduation Ceremony for the academic year 2016- 2017 with the attendance of Dr. Yusuf Goran and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi, the head of the board of trustees. The ceremony, which was held in Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi's Conference Hall, was commenced by the procession of the graduates of the four colleges: College of Economic and Administration, College of Law and Politics, College of Science and Technology, and College of Languages. Later the faculties' members and the council of the University of Human Development were processioned to the hall. The ceremony started by standing a minute of silence for the martyrs of Kurdistan, and listening to the National Anthem "Ay Raqib". Later, the ceremony was embellished by reciting some verses of the Holy Quran followed by Assist. Prof. Rebwar Karim reading the speech of the Higher Committee of the Sixth Round.
Shortly afterwards, Prof. Dr. Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed delivered his speech congratulating all the graduates accentuating that the University of Human Development within the 9 years have taking a enormous pace forward because of implementing the regulations assigned by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and also for the continuous support of Prof. Dr. Ali Qaradaghi. Prof. Dr. Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed also delightfully announced two happy tidings to the graduates: the first was having the consent of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Kurdistan to start graduate studies (MA) for this academic year, the second was that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research- Iraqi Federal Government- has formally awarded full accreditation to our university. On a separate note, Prof. Dr. Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed stated that it is an utter joy that our university is the top university in Kurdistan for two successive years, and this was accomplished because of the devoted efforts of all the faculty members, students, and the employees. He further expressed his happiness that our university is starting its path to graduate studies for the current academic year. He closed his speech wishing all graduates to serve Kurdistan each equipped with the knowledge of his specialty.

Graduation oath was sworn after the president's speech, followed by the dean of each of the four colleges requesting the president of the university to admit the graduates to their respective degrees, and the president conferred their request. The ceremony reached its ending with the procession of the university council, faculty members, and the students out of the hall. The same ceremony will be held for the evening classes in our university. It is worth mentioning that a total of 993 students have graduated in different specialties having their BA certificates from the University of Human Development.
