President of UHD in an international conference at Turkey: The problems of the middle east could only be solved with understanding and negotiations

The president of University of Human Development, Professor Dr. Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed, along with his assistant, UHD's Director of international relations and the number of university teachers, participated in an international conference that was held in the Turkish university of Sakarya. The conference started its works on October 11, 2016 and lasted for three days. Many well-known academic and political figures from different countries participated in the latter conference with their researches. The conference opened with a speech from the president of University of Sakarya who welcomed the attendants and discussed the progress of their project.
At the beginning of the conference, Professor Dr. Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed, President of university of Human Development, presented a speech in which he gave a brief review on UHD, its history and works since its establishment. The president also discussed the current situation of the Middle East and the economical as well as political issues that only hold back the process of education and caused for the extremism mentality to spread. Professor Dr. Mariwan Ahmed Rasheed also emphasized that it is the duty of this conference to seek a solution for these problems that recently faced the Middle East.
President Dr. Mariwan further noted that the Middle East is comprised of countries with different nations, religions, and mentalities. Therefore, he urged to promote the sense of respect and accepting each others' differences in order to evade conflicts.
The Middle East institution is a section within Sakarya University that focuses on the circumstances of the Middle East, the conference was the third by the institution. University of Human Development participated with a number of researches in that international conference as a university that signed mutual understanding letter with the Turkish university..
