Symposium: Effective Language Teaching and Effective Language Learning

Today, Sunday November 12th, 2017, the Language Unit at the Development Center for Research and Training (DCRT) and with the assistance of College of Languages and Translation a symposium was held related to effective language teaching and self-learning.
The symposium was held with the attendance of Assist. Prof. Dr. Rauf Karim Mahmoud, the dean of the College of Languages and Translation, and a number of faculty members and tens of students. The event was both beneficial and valuable for the attendees.
Two important subjects were tackled in the symposium: at the beginning Mark Queen, who is a faculty member at the University of Raparin, presented a subject titled "Effective Language Teaching", afterwards Assist. Prof. Dr. Suhaib Mustafa Amedi presented his subject that entitled "Effective Language Learning".
The symposium was moderated by Dr. Sabir Hassan Rasul, the head of English Department at the University of Human Development, and the attendees participated by asking questions.
